No Bullying! No Kids Deserves It!

bullyno20bullying20circle
When your child gets bullied, what are you going to do? Especially when the bullies are way bigger than your child, a lot older and supposed to be wiser. Sigh! That's what happened to my son today. It was his very first time getting bullied by 5th grader kids while they're in the bus. He was so upset and crying when he came home. I asked him what happened why he was mad, and he told me everything what happened.

He ought to show us his project that he did at school. According to him, it was an Indian hat that native American wears. He was all so excited when he was about to come home because he was going to show that to us. But, that hat he was talking about was wrecked by those brats. I asked him if they could just possibly accidentally wrecked his work or did they really do it in a purpose. And he said yes, they did it in a purpose because he was holding the hat and they grabbed it from him and wrecked it. My son is a quiet and a very friendly boy, he prefers to be by himself rather than being with those bully kids.

This makes me mad really! Just so upsetting! But then there's nothing i can do until Monday comes. I have to let the bus driver know about it and also the school principal so they can put action to it. Take note! Those bullies are 5th graders! They are way bigger than my 1st grader! I just don't want my son being bullied by anybody. No kids deserves to be bullied anyway. And there's no parents like to see their child getting bullied by other kids, especially when the bullies are bigger. This is the first, and i am hoping it will be the last.

Snowboarding In The Frozen Lake

It was a nice day the other day, so i decided to take my kids out to a frozen lake not too far from here. The kids and i had so much fun indeed, if it was a blast for me, it was even more a fun day for my two boys. They chased each other in the open field of a frozen lake and did the snowboarding as well. We rode all three of us of my son's snowboard. It was a great quality time with my two boys and it was indeed an another memorable moments that i can keep. Of course, camera was with me to capture all those moments, so i can freeze it and keep it as my remembrance.
My little potato in the snow
This picture above was one of the cute moments of my little one. I think he was waiting for his big brother to pull him in this shot, he was so quiet while his big brother was fixing the rope that got caught under the snowboard. I can tell that he was a little cold already in this picture but still want to play some more. We stayed there for about an hour and half and decided to go home after because my fingers were frozen to death. They whined but i told them that if they won't listen to me, i will not take them there again anymore. But before we came home, i took the kids to a food chain to eat. It was a sweet memorable moments with my two boys again, and i was so happy seeing them playing happily.

Happy Young Man

My five year old young man
This young man in the picture above is very much happy, you wanna know why? It's simply because he can't wait for the Christmas day to come, that's what he said so he can open all his presents under the tree. He's been counting the days and he is excited waking up everyday. He told me that every day that passes by makes the Christmas day comes close. I can just tell how happy he is and how anxious he is to open his presents, especially when Daddy and i told him about Santa that he will be visiting here in our house on Christmas eve and drop their presents off with his little brother.

He asked me if he can just wait for Santa to come so he can say hello. But we told him that Santa don't really wanna be seen by kids dropping off his presents for them, he prefer the kids to go to sleep so he can sneak in the house so quietly lol! Daddy and Mommy got the presents that he's been wishing for this year and we are just so sure that we will be seeing a popping eyes and a big O lips of our young man.

My Cute Little Janitor

In our four months of stay in Philippines with my kids, we enjoyed it pretty much every single day despite of the hot weather. The kids were irritated at first because we left here in Utah around spring time which was a little chilly still and their body reacted to a sudden weather change that made them cranky for few days when we got there. Especially my little one since it was his first time to be in his mother's homeland. It was a shock for him to be in the hot place and sweating all the time.
My little helper. This was taken during our vacation in Philippines
But later on as we stayed there for about a month, he's slowly adopting the hot temperature, we just have to keep turning on the fan for him so he won't get prickly heat all over him, as he already did but it wasn't that bad, which was good thing. He always whines and cry and wants to be held. Or maybe wanted to go out and explore the place where we at. So, to keep him busy, i just let him walk around by my mother's front lawn and do what he wanted to do. He found the broom stick and picked it up got him entertained lol! Looks like my little one is a cute janitor cleaning his granny's yard, hihi :) I tried to get that away from him and he just got so upset. One of most treasured pictures i have for my son that i can never have it here in America, hihi :)

Picky Eater Kid

picky eater
My five year old son used to be a good eater. I can give whatever food i prepare for him and he will eat it no problem. But as he is growing, i start to noticed that he is not growing that much anymore like what he is supposed to, like the other kids same as his age. I have seen some of his classmates that are now a lot bigger than him and taller. In fact it bothered me even more when a friend came over yesterday with her son. He was a year younger than my son but he was a lot taller than my boy. So i told hubby that we should do something about our son. He is starting to be picky lately and he eats food that doesn't have much vitamins to it to help him grow fast.

He eats hot pockets, hotdogs, corn dogs and some other food that is really for just snacks, not for meal. He eats veggies though, but doesn't eat that much anymore like he used to. He used to be a vegetable gobbler. He can gobble a plate of steamed carrots, broccoli and cauliflower. I miss those times that he was looking so healthy and chubby! Now he is getting so skinny! He doesn't looked malnourished though (as you can see his photo above, that's very recent) but as a mother, i cannot help but to worry. I bought him vitamins in Philippines, but i know vitamins only helps when there's good food he eats. I already tried everything though, but seems like it wasn't working for him.

So, i am calling all the concerned mothers here, please share your experiences and tips on how to feed a five year old kid picky eater. He keeps on telling me now, nah! I don't like that, i want hotdog or corndog or maybe hot pockets. Goodness gracious! He cannot just eat all those forever! There's not much to those kind of food that makes him grow stronger and taller. I am seeking some help here, if you are a mother like me, i would love to hear your tips about your kids and experience as a mother. And thank you so much in advance to those whoever will take an effort to leave their thoughts here.

My Boys, My Happiness

My boys
These are my happiness, they always give me strength whenever i am weak and wanted to give up. They cheer me up and makes me smile all the time although there are times that they can be so annoying and upsetting. Kids will always be kids, as they say. Let them be and they will grow happy and will be a good person someday. So that is what i am doing to them, helping them to learn things and realizes what is right from wrong. They can get punishment too by facing the wall or time out in their own room, for them to learn from their mistakes. They are such good kids and i am sure they will stay that way until they are going to have their own family. When that time comes, i am sure they will pass what they have learned from their parents, which is how to value and respect each member of the family.

Glad He Is Better

Last few days ago my little potato was sick, been throwing up and having a diarrhea. I am happy that he got better now although he's still have a little bit of a diarrhea but not as bad like it was before. It got me a little scared and worried when i saw his eyes looked awful and seems like he didn't get enough sleep, looked like he was about to dehydrate. So i went to the town and bought him pedialyte to keep him from dehydration. I am a tough woman but when it comes to my kids i get scared right away, i would want to get sick myself rather than seeing my kids get sick. I hate it when my kids are lousy and weak, it only means that they are not feeling good because they are as active like a busy bug when they are in a good condition. Right now, i am just happy and at ease knowing my little one is back to normal, being giggly and walking around every corner of his grandmother's house.

Tiring But Fulfilling

I was away from my blogging hobby due to i have some friends who came over here from California to visit us. I had to clean the house thoroughly and do what must do first. The house was spotless until they left. It came back to original view of the house again, scattered toys and other things of my preschooler and also the rocker, the walker and everything is in sight again... It only tells that there is two active boys in the house that runs around and always there to make a mess... Well, i cannot really do anything about it but to just follow and clean the mess they make, that's the job of a mother is to take care of everything inside the house... It can be tiring but at the same time, fulfilling...

My Two Adorable Boys

These are my adorable boys that completes me as a mother. They make me happy and sometimes annoys me. But most of the time they are the source of my joys and i am proud of them. My oldest one is doing really great in school and my youngest one is developing his motor skills so great according to his age. In fact they are advanced kids, sounds so bragging but i am just telling the truth. They are not perfect since no one in this world is created perfect but they have the most advantage and good character that some other kids don't have. I love my kids like all mothers does to their own kids. They are the source of my strength and they taught me to keep on going and made me a better person by taking care of them.
