Ready For Photography Business

I am so happy that my page in the networking website has now growing community. I love to see people liking my page, it makes my heart melt and gives me the sweetest smile ever. Lately, i have been so hooked up with portraiture photography and i am planning to take it seriously. In fact, i just placed my order yesterday at amazon.com of my studio photography lighting kit. I am very excited and anxious to receive it. I am expecting to have it by tomorrow.

I can just tell that i am ready to start my own business, though some people might say i am not fully experienced yet, but i already have enough knowledge to take pictures to start a small business. Though i must admit, photography is like going to a class, you learn something new everyday, through experience. I love photography, whatever kind of photography it is, my most favorites are macro and portraiture. So, that's why i am always practicing almost everyday with my little one. He's the immediate model i can grab, and he's free, lol! Anyway, here's some of his photographs taken just the other day in our backyard.

Soon This Will Be Mine

It has been awhile since i hadn't use my point and shoot camera for it isn't working anymore. I had the battery charged up but it won't turn on no matter how hard i push the power button. Hubby said that my poor worn out camera is now retiring, it served me for almost six years and it's time for this poor thing to rest. This point and shoot camera was the very first Christmas gift i got from hubby. It was funny when i first opened it, at first i really thought it was a coin purse, so i exclaimed, "Coin Purse! What am i gonna do with this? I don't really carry coins in my wallet". Then hubby laughed and told me to open the rest presents i got under the Christmas tree. Then i opened the camera box and figured out what was that coin purse i was talking about is for. It's a purse for my cute point and shoot camera!

Hubby said that since i don't have a small camera to carry with me all the time anymore, it's time for him to buy me a new one because he doesn't like me to carry my big DSLR all the time wherever i go. I somewhat agree with my husband though, when it comes to partying or some other gatherings we have here, it doesn't really need a big camera for that to capture the fun moments. Small point and shoot camera will do just as good as my DSLR. My DSLR is mainly for special photo shooting and not for partying or whatever. So hubby told me to look for a new point and shoot camera that i like so we can buy it next time. I am so excited and happy, hubby really loves me for he gives me things that makes me happy. It's not that i measure his love for me by the things he gives me, but by how thoughtful he is to me.

So, here's the camera that i would love to own someday, i like the silver color for this is the same color of my pentax point and shoot camera that is now retired. And besides, silver color is more elegant and beautiful, don't you think? This camera is 16 megapixel, a lot more finer quality picture compared to my DSLR which only has 12 megapixel. But of course my DSLR has a lot of things it can do that a point and shoot can't. I so can't wait to have this in my hands, and soon, i know hubby will give this to me just like he promised. :)

I Want To Learn More

When i was in the Philippines having my long vacation with the kids, i was not able to use my camera that often. I was very busy exploring places and things. Also i had things going on before hubby went there to get us, so that made my hands kept away from my camera. Hubby said i shouldn't brought my camera there. Oh well, i could not help it, i was suppose to shoot a lot of things but i guess my attention was diverted into something else instead.

Anyway, when we got back here in Utah, i had no other things than keep on shooting again with my kiddos, they are my models and i love taking pictures of them so much. And because of that, i found out something new about my camera feature, i must say that i still need to learn a lot of things from my camera, i still need to do more photography study. I am that familiar of some other things that my camera can do and i am hoping that someone can help me explore it that knows photography so well. I have some friends that offered help though, but i cannot just rely onto them since they also have life of their own, they are quiet busy with their own careers. I am one lazy woman when it comes to reading manuals, i want to learn in actual, like someone teaches me things and show me how to do it. But for now, i guess i have to live with reading manuals since no one can take some time to sit with me and teach me things that i want to learn.

Hand On The Grapes

My youngest one sure is one handful baby. I have to put everything out of his reach so he can't grab it. Pretty much of our things are already whether on top of the cabinets, on top of the shelves or anywhere just to keep the things away from him. Hubby has to vaccum the floor everyday so he won't see small things on the floor and pick it up and put it in his mouth. This morning i was putting some fruits on the plate where we usually put the fruits and put it on top of the coffee table for awhile because i went to my room to get my camera to take some snaps of it. But when i got back, he's already there trying to pick some grapes. Just look how cute his hand is, i must say that i did a good job capturing the cutest hand that is trying to get the grapes.

Photography Is Not Easy

Just barely got back from my photography class. I really thought that learning the photography is just a snap of my fingers and that will be it. But i failed. Photography is a little bit complicated for me especially to the settings. Enable for me to get the good, sharp and crisp images, i have to learn all the techniques and tips how to get the good angle and how to set my camera in a certain way. Like for example for a daylight photos, i have to set the camera to the lowest ISO so i can get the sharp image and not totally white. There a lot of things that the speaker talked about in the class i am currently attending.

He showed some of his photographs and it just amazed me how he did all those shots. He told me that he didn't learned everything about photography in just one day, he learned it by experience and by situation. Some photographers told me that they learn things in photography accidentally and it turned out good. I really am fond of photography and i am just hoping that i will learn more about this field and will be able to take some snaps just like what the professional photographers have to their portfolio.
