Hubby's Big Day

It was a simple celebration i prepared for my better half yesterday. Since he never liked the idea of having a party here in the house especially for his big day, so i just made some quick preparation for us to enjoy. Also so we don't have to eat left overs for days, lol! Hubby was of course happy when he came home from work seeing my little surprise for him.

He doesn't want a big cake, since just four of us are going to eat it, i ordered a small one layered round cake. And the other thing is, he doesn't want me to put numbers on his cake either. So for him to have something to blow, i put three candles on his cake which represents the love of his life who dearly loves him so much. The candles was Mommy, MD and DM. It was a simple celebration, yet it was memorable for just four of us celebrated Daddy's very special day of his life :)

Velvet Birthday Cake

I had a very simple celebration on my big day but it sure was a blast! The very day of my birthday, my friend surprised me with her prepared foods and a velvet cake with 30 numbers on top of it. I felt so special because she actually did all that for me. She woke up early just to prepare the foods and bought me a lovely cake, knowing she has to go to work later that day, how sweet of her huh? She is indeed a very sweet and thoughtful friend of mine.

Although we did not spend the whole day together with some other friends, she already made my day for the surprise she had for me. I took the cake home after and some foods that she prepared when the time that she has to leave for work. Last Saturday, a friend also prepared something for me, but i did not buy a cake for myself to blow since i already had one on my very day. It was a fun birthday, i celebrated it on my very day and a day after. I felt so special and blessed, i am now thirty years old! And yes, i am old, or am i? lol!

One Year Older

This is me, my oldest son just took this stolen shot a little while ago. I am now one year older, but my heart and mind is still the same. They said that i still look younger than my age, i still able to manage my figure and they have been asking me what is my secret. I really don't have secret at all, i guess i just have a pretty strong metabolism that burns fats so fast. Plus the fact that i am as busy as a bug, i have my oldest son to take to his school and pick him up after, and i have a little one that i have to drag along with me every time i take and pick up his brother from school. Not to mention the house chores are all mine. But despite of all that, i am grateful and happy of my life now, i have everything to thank for and the priceless blessings that i received from GOD is more than enough...
